Welcome to Sharon School’s 2007-08 Year, as principal, I characterize Sharon School as a true neighborhood school. This school is constantly active - including after school, in the evenings, and during the weekends. In the evenings and weekends, the school is used to support school functions as well as community activities. The gym is used by the Sharon Recreation Department.

I also tell parents that Sharon is composed of a caring group of teachers and support staff. We care about helping students achieve academic excellence, but we know that teaching about respect, ethical values, and social skills are equally important. We strive to create an environment where students feel safe, comfortable, and respected.

The School motto, "Soar high with eagle pride”, is a challenge to all Sharon students to seek their own heights in academic, social, mental, emotional and physical health, thus to firmly establish the foundations for their futures.
